POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Supply Clerk must be a self-starter with independent work habits.  He/she must be able to communicate both orally and in writing with all personnel and suppliers. He/she must demonstrate strong commitment and positive attitude toward the goals and philosophies of the Company.  He/she must be effective in analyzing and evaluating problems and in making recommendations and suggestions to bring change to a system to improve Company operations and customer relations. 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

 

  1. Counts all inventory as assigned by Asset & Supply Coordinator/Manager.
  2. Accepts deliveries and places items in the designated areas.
  3. Picks up supplies ordered/purchased locally, as assigned by Asset & Supply Coordinator/Manager
  4. Retrieves durable medical equipment from Phoenix area hospitals if required.
  5. Returns products to local vendors.
  6. Processes ambulance restock requests.
  7. Disperses uniform items as assigned.
  8. Maintains order for supplies in designated categories.
  9. Processes and restocks supplies at outlying stations.

 

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attends all mandatory staff meetings and meets training requirements.
  • Abides by all Company policy and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education/Licensing/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED required. 

Maintain current Arizona Department of Transportation driver's license and meet Life Line’s insurance requirements.

Experience:

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) experience is preferred, but not  required.  Has demonstrated professional rapport with fellow workers. 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Necessary education and training to perform the essential job requirements and function/duties as outlined.
  • He/she must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
