The Sr. Integration Implementation Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth and consistent rollout of integrations between GMR CAD systems and internal/external systems. The Sr. Integration Implementation Specialist functions as a facilitator, coach and diplomat to enable the success of AMR’s Integrations between Fire Departments, external 3rd party systems and internal software platforms. This Sr. Integration Implementation Specialist will work as part of cross functional teams within all pillars of IT along with Operations and Communications Managers and Directors in support of interfacing and integration activities.  This position will require travel within the United States.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business processes and gathers information requirements to facilitate electronic transfer of data between PSAP CAD systems, NG911 systems and 3rd party software systems to/from the GMR National CAD system
  • Documents system requirements; defines scope and objectives; and creates system specifications
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with GMR and non-GMR Vendors, Fire Department and other government officials
  • Guide outside agencies on integration opportunities and process. Assist with vendor contact and negotiation as necessary
  • Work with Infrastructure Architect to determine connectivity design between systems
  • Coordinates with all IT Pillars and External IT agencies on setup and testing of connectivity
  • Schedules and ensures sequencing of testing and implementation tasks for each new integration/interface project and updates the project manager appropriately
  • Develops test cases and implementation guidelines, checklists and other tools to support current and future interface implementations. Performs testing in tandem with CAD Administrators.
  • Ensures implementation of approved business process and operational performance for each interface
  • Actively translates and transfers Interface knowledge and expertise to CAD Administrators
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Education/Licensing/Certification:

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field or Equivalent Experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with formal training in any or all:
    • Project management
    • CAD Administration
    • Business/Technical Analysis
    • Implementation management

Experience: 

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience implementing CAD Interfaces in the EMS/PSAP space
  • A successful track record in project management for implementation of interfaces including CAD-to-CAD, CAD-to- RMS, CAD-to-ePCR, CAD to 3rd party applications
  • Experience in successfully coaching stakeholders through complex implementations
  • Demonstrated experience in reading and understanding API specifications and relating business process in order to document system requirements
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in a timely manner
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and functioning in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Preference may be given to candidates with direct experience in interface implementations

  • Ability to effectively research and adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
  • Exceptional oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a sensitive and diplomatic manner
  • Demonstrated ability as a facilitator in resolution of conflicting stakeholder priorities, perspectives and preferences
  • Excellent desktop computer skills including document development and presentation development
