Patient Registration Clerk
Summary: Administrative role that does not require an EMT cert. 7 days a week during day hours to help with stationary and mobile testing. FT/PT
The Patient Registration Clerk will stand outside in the Eastfield Mall parking lot (designated area for AMR testing). They should be dressed appropriately for the weather. They will be given a surgical mask to wear during their shift (8:30am-5pm). They do not need gloves unless they want to wear their own for warmth. The only contact would be handing the tissue wrapped vial to car occupant. There is hand sanitizer on site as well.
Cars will be lined up for Covid Testing and the data entry person will stand at a computer cart or sit at a table waiting for the car (occupant citizen(s) to be tested) to approach alongside.
The Data Entry person will ask the car occupant: ‘Have you pre-registered’.
If the occupant has preregistered, then the Patient Registration Clerk person finds the record, hits submit, and sends the info to a printer. A label will print out, the Data Entry person puts the label on a sterile vial, hands to occupant in the car along with 1-2 tissues. The car with occupants pulls forward to the medical staff tent to finish their covid test.
If the car occupant has NOT registered, the Data Entry person will enter: name, address, email address, DOB and phone#, then follow the screen prompts to get to the print screen.
