The Asset & Supply Coordinator must be a self-starter with independent work habits. He/she must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels. He/she must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He/she must demonstrate strong commitment and positive attitude to the goals and philosophies of the Company. He/she must be effective in analyzing and evaluating problems and in making recommendations and suggestions to bring change to a system to improve customer relations. He/she must possess business aptitude of organization, computer systems and office etiquette. He/she must be able to complete and check paperwork, such as call sheets, inventory sheets, contracts and any other business forms utilized by the procurement, fleet and maintenance offices. He/she must be able to communicate effectively over the telephone. He/she must have computer knowledge and typing skills. Responsible for the cleaning and stocking of vehicles in preparation for regulatory inspections. Manages all aspects of procurement, fleet and facility daily operations. Will assist in general maintenance and upkeep of buildings. Will function as a driver as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Stocks vehicles in preparation for regulatory inspections.

Performs inventory on expendable medical and janitorial supplies; stocks as necessary.

Assists in relaying units for maintenance.

Relays equipment to appropriate destination for repairs.

Performs routine checks and preparation of bio-medical equipment and performs minor

troubleshooting procedures.

Performs laundry duties.

Assists with maintenance and upkeep of stations and grounds.

Monitors the quality, cost, delivery, performances and aspects of assigned suppliers.

Manages all aspects of procurement, fleet and facility daily operations.

Provides leadership/mentoring to all subordinate personnel.

Develops new sources of supply and coordinates purchasing, fleet and facilities activities.

Supervises and strives to obtain high-quality staff and sets departments’ objectives.

Manage all inventory at all facilities.

Interacts with other Managers to coordinate activities between other departments.

Executes Company and strategic plans to meet goals, including supplier consolidation,

physical inventory elimination, on-time delivery performance and inventory turnover.

Manages processes of product/service requirements, identifies and qualifies appropriate

suppliers, facilitates Requests for Proposals/Requests for Information, and executes

appropriate procurement documents, such as blanket or standard purchase orders.

Oversees supervision of assigned personnel, which includes work allocation and problem

resolution.

Coordinates the preparation of reports and analyses for management and presents

recommendation for improvements, monetary control and adherence to budgets.

Establishes and implements short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating

procedures.

Manages office operations to maximize human and automated resources to achieve

productivity and profitability.

Communicates clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectations,

productivity and accountability.

Reviews on-going performance results and identifies needs of employees.

Assists in development and implementation of records maintenance system on employees,

equipment and inventory.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in procurement and/or facilities.

Ability to work under time constraints.

Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills.

Must hold a current and valid State driver’s license and maintain acceptable driving record.

Basic computer skills.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) experience is preferred, however it is not required.

Demonstrated professional rapport with fellow workers.

Commitment to professionalism and customer service and proven loyalty to the Company.
